Male Dancer Scholarships
To encourage training for male dancers, José Manuel Carreño Male Dancer Scholarships offer male dance students ages 10-22 the opportunity to train on scholarship at The New Ballet Summer Intensive. Training includes men's and boy's classes, male variations, and partnering for qualified students. Classes are taught by José Manuel Carreño and The New Ballet School's expert faculty, including Le Mai Linh, Mads Eriksen, Dalia Rawson and Alexsandra Meijer.
All male dancers who attend a Summer Intensive audition or who audition by video will be considered for a José Manuel Carreño Male Dancer Scholarship, and finalists will be confirmed by José Manuel Carreño himself. Scholarships may include partial tuition scholarships, full tuition scholarships, and housing.
