Choreography Workshop

Mentored by renowned choreography professor Fred Mathews, students will learn choreographic skills and create their own work, to be shown in a culminating in-house showing. Fred Matthews is on the Dance Program Faculty at San Jose State University, where he has taught choreography for over twenty-five years. A former member of the José Limon Dance Company, he is known for his mentoring of young choreographers, and has inspired a new generation of Silicon Valley artists. For experienced dancers ages 14 and up, including NBS students in levels 4A and up. Students from other schools and adult students are welcome.

Dates: 10 weeks of classes, September 11th-November 13th, on  Tuesdays  from 6:30-7:30pm.
