En Avant - A Movement Forward

The En Avant Drive goes towards funding our move to a permanent home for the New Ballet. The New Ballet will raise $200,000 for moving expenses and to relaunch as a leader in the San Jose arts community in our new home.

The New Ballet School - San Jose is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization that makes the benefits of dance training featuring the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum available to diverse students from the San Jose community and beyond.

Our scholarship awards and financial aid programs provide over $100,000 a year in tuition scholarships to talented and deserving young dancers, breaking down the cultural access gap so that the benefits of high level artistic study are available to all. 

Through our Outreach programs, we provide dance and music classes in local elementary schools throughout the school year, offering the only arts classes available at some local schools. We provide expert training in our studios on full scholarship including uniforms and shoes to over 50 students a year through our First Step Program.
